Vineyard 48 2005 Riesling (North Fork of Long Island)

Sweet flavors of apples, pears and peaches are balanced with a lively acidity in this playful wine. This is not for fans of dry Riesling—it's a little too voluptuous for that—but if you like whites that are a little more decadent, this is a tasty bet. It's an accessible wine and not too complicated, but easy to like. Susan Kostrzewa
