This small-production wine is sweet and ripe, with licorice, candy and a touch of stem to the nose. It's not as pure and purposeful as the 2005, hence the lower rating. But it's good Bierzo, with cherry, plum and chocolate along with good grab, tannins and overall flow. Drink now. 350 cases produced.
