More than a few of the winery's 2011 vineyard designates display aromas of the chicken yard, which can be a pleasant attribute, but can also bloom in the bottle and take over. Currently the tart cranberry and raspberry fruit is holding its place. This bottling was aged entirely in neutral oak barrels.
