There's goodness in this Malbec blend, but truth be told, this is not the best vintage of Corte A. A brambly, gamy nose is herbal and leafy, and not fully fresh. A palate with rough tannins holds soupy flavors of tomato, stewed plum, grass and tea, while an herbal character stays around for the finish. Michael Schachner
