Blistering oak is the welcome mat, then the nose morphs from hickory to mint to olive. The palate is chewy, even burly, and the finish runs dark and syrupy but also medicinal. For sure this wine has power and ripeness, yet it rates as untamed and badly needs food to settle it down. Imported by Atlanta Improvement Co.
