Initially it smells like clay, but that soon yields. The palate is bold and loaded with oozing black fruit, while the wine finishes with flesh and warmth. It's a big, lumbering specimen that isn't elegant in the least, but it's good in the so-called ripe and ready style. Imported by Atlanta Improvement Co. Michael Schachner
