Very melony and full of pineapple: ripe is the main word used to describe this full-bodied, weighty rendition of Viognier and whatever else makes the blend. Overall it has bold, fat apricot and peach flavors along with a lip-smacking, somewhat cumbersome finish. Drink as soon as possible to preserve maximum stone-fruit character. Michael Schachner
