Viu Manent 2010 Estate Collection Malbec (Colchagua Valley)

Smells distinctly like juniper, hot brush and stemmy black fruit. The palate feels tough and stemmy, and the flavors are bitter and weedy. Just doesn't seem ripe. Weak for Chile's de facto Malbec leader. Michael Schachner
