Viviani 2003 Casa dei Bepi (Amarone della Valpolicella)

Modern oak notes of toast, vanilla and spice cover some of this wine's natural freshness and suggest that it could use two or three more years to find balance. That said, there is great complexity here thanks to minimal touches, dried fruit and toasted oak nuances, all present in the right dosages.
