Vizcarra 2008 Senda del Oro (Ribera del Duero)

Opens with peppery, earthy black cherry and berry aromas, yet the palate is clacky and narrow, with high acidity and dry, limited flavors of blackberry and black cherry. Narrow as well on the finish. Middle-of-the road and respectable but hardly a head-turner. Michael Schachner
