Vizcarra 2018 Celia (Ribera del Duero)

Cellar Selection

Deep violet-red to the eye, this wine has aromas of fresh red berries, vanilla and clove. It is bright at first sip, opening with flavors of cherry and raspberry that are followed by notes of crème brûlée, fennel pollen and a touch of smoke. All is set into opulent tannins that wend their way to a long, smooth finish. Drink through 2043. Mike DeSimone
