Volker Eisele Family Estate 2005 Terzetto Red (Napa Valley)

Exactly one-third Cabernet Sauvignon, Cab Franc and Merlot, this is a very delicious wine, but it's also too young. It needs time for the tannic edges and primary fruit character to soften and meld with the 70% new French oak. Decanting will help, but it should be best between 2009 and 2011, depending on how old you like your Bordeaux-style wines.
