A bit reductive at the start, with some salty oniony aromas, this Chardonnay needs some swirling in glass before revealing notes of waxy lemon, white pepper and wool. The palate is medium to full bodied, with a slippery texture that doesn't employ the use of oak. Juicy citrusy acidity balances the creaminess nicely, but the fruit feels a little sour.
