Walt 2011 Shea Vineyard Pinot Noir (Willamette Valley)

A very pretty wine from an excellent vineyard, the Walt opens with scents of rose petals and cherries. It brings the cherry fruit forward in a tart, racy mid-palate, and then frames it all with hints of cocoa and clean earth. The last kiss is a taste of toasted coconut. Paul Gregutt
