A pure Sangiovese, it shows the lighter colors of the grape, and offers quite soft, round fruit flavors of plum and ripe strawberry. Full-bodied (for Sangio) and almost lush, it's a user-friendly style that de-emphasizes the grape's natural acidity and ripens it to almost 15% alcohol. There's not a lot of detail here, just round, sweet fruit.
