Walter Scott 2019 Arlyn Vineyard Gamay Noir (Chehalem Mountains)

An exciting new wine from this producer, it's literally vibrating with electrically charged flavors of cranberry, raspberry, orange peel and sour cherry. The big, bold fruit flavors elevate the entire wine, which was aged in 500 liter neutral casks for 10 months. What you have here is a bright mix of fresh fruit and balanced acidity, with any rough edges honed off by the barrel time. Drink now and over the next three years. Paul Gregutt
