Warre's LBV is a crusted, traditional style, which has been bottled unfiltered and which matures in the bottle. That's why this wine is so fine and rich and only now reaching maturity. It is dry, with layers of tannins and dried fruit flavors. Tasted blind, it would certainly be mistaken for a vintage Port. —R.V.
