The aromas are hard to tease out, with subdued notes of berry and spice, with smoked-meat notes emerging over time. Plush-feeling blue-fruit flavors follow, showing a bit of graininess on the finish. One would like to see more aromatic expression, but the palate is lovely. Sean P. Sullivan
