Hardly a cookie-cutter wine; this one features sharp aromatics of white grapefruit and pineapple as well as some thistle. The mouthfeel is heavy, as are the flavors of orange, tangerine and banana. When all is said and done it tastes much like a Tropicana juice blend, maybe more so than it should. —M.S.
