Wattle Creek 2003 Cabernet Sauvignon (Alexander Valley)

There's tons of ripe fruit in this totally dry Cab, which has a drop of Malbec. It has a full-bodied, weighty feel, a blackberry jam density, and is fairly tannic, although the tannins are of the sweet kind. A little forward and obvious now, the wine should develop bottle complexity over the next six to eight years.
