Waxwing 2011 Spring Hill Vineyard Pinot Noir (Sonoma Coast)

So delicious and approachable, it's hard not to drink it now for its raspberry and cherry jam flavors. The vineyard is in the Petaluma Gap, whose cool climate lends it dryness, low alcohol and brisk acidity, at no cost at all to the richness.
