Weinert 2000 Cabernet Sauvignon (Mendoza)

Typcially rustic, as are most of Weinert's wines. Tree bark, earth and cola are apparent on the saucy, traditional bouquet, while the palate is a touch raw and herbal, with tomato and oregano accenting medium-weight red fruit. For some this is the right style; for others it won't do the trick. Imported by Broadbent Selections, Inc. Michael Schachner
