Weinert 2006 Cabernet Sauvignon (Mendoza)

A rusty color and aromas of root beer, maple and scented soap indicate that this mature Cabernet is not about fruit. Fig, chocolate and overripe base flavors end with strong suggestions of Port and Sherry. This is interesting more than anything else at this point. Drink now. Michael Schachner
