Weis 2019 Terroir Slate Riesling (Finger Lakes)

Ripe aromas of pineapple rind and yellow apple blend with sharp white grapefruit on the nose. It's fleshy and round on the palate, filled out by pert orchard fruit flavors that are held in check by mild lemony lift. A dry finish meets a hint of alcohol burn, but it still remains a delightfully quaffable wine. Alexander Peartree
