Westerly 2018 Pinot Noir (Sta. Rita Hills)

Light in color, this appellation blend of Fiddlestix, John Sebastiano and Peake Ranch vineyards begins with warm aromas of French toast, light strawberry, a touch of fig and plenty of Christmas spice. There is a strong sagebrush tone to the palate, full of wild thyme and peppery spice flavors that are set against a crisp backdrop of wild berry and red currant. Matt Kettmann
