White Oak 2004 Sauvignon Blanc (Russian River Valley)

This Sauvignon is very New Zealandy in gooseberry, green grass, alfalfa and citrus fruit. It's also totally dry, with good, crisp acids. It has a complex, layered creaminess that lifts it above the ordinary.
