Whitecliff Vineyard 2016 Estate Bottled Cabernet Franc (Hudson River Region)

A bright streak of graphite starts off the nose of this wine, leading to a vibrant core of cranberry, cherry and peppery spice. The medium-bodied palate is rounded out by succulent red-fruit flavors, with a granite twang offering a tangy counterweight. Crisp tones of black peppercorn and graphite rise up on the finish to give a final burst of flavor to this enjoyable wine. Alexander Peartree
