This may not be the current vintage, but it's a mature wine that's ready to drink. It starts with cherry aromas along with mint and licorice. The mouth is not too heavy, and the red cherry fruit on the palate is expressive and pure. The finish is a tad short, but what's there is fine, and as a whole this wine is likable and easygoing.
