This is a fine, sweet-scented wine, with clean, crisp fruit and a pleasing balance. Here the fruit takes center stage, with no obvious new oak, just vivid acids to set it off. What's here is delicious, but regarding balance it is a simple, one-dimensional wine. —P.G.
