Willamette Valley Vineyards 2015 Bernau Block Pinot Noir (Willamette Valley)

Consider 2015 an off year for this estate wine. Its thin red berry fruit comes with citrus flavors, high acidity and dry, astringent tannins. Some appealing cherry candy flavors emerge as the wine breathes, but it doesn't seem to have the depth to age. Drink now and over the next two to three years. Paul Gregutt
