88pointsWillamette Valley Vineyards 2015 Méthode Champenoise Brut Sparkling (Willamette Valley)

This is just the second release of a sparkling wine from this producer, crafted from a mix of Pommard Pinot and Dijon clone Chardonnay. Oregon fizz is enjoying a renaissance at the moment, though it's still rather rare and expensive. This is lightly toasty, with steely highlights and tangy flavors of apple, lemon curd and pineapple.
