90pointsWilliam Church 2007 Cabernet Sauvignon (Columbia Valley (WA))

A very classy effort, with the barrel influence pulled back and the fruit ripened to a nice blend of berry and raisin. Tannins are firm and slightly scrapey; and the structure overall brings the fruit, tannin, acids and oak into good balance. The finish lingers with threads of smoke and coffee. Paul Gregutt
