William Grassie 2016 Charlee Syrah (Columbia Valley (WA))

Cellar Selection

This Syrah spent three years in neutral oak. Aromas of ripe blackberries and modeling clay are joined by a vanilla bean angel food cake note that screams “decadence.” The medium-bodied palate, lush tannins and lively acidity frame flavors of grilled pork shoulder, coffee, dark chocolate and more blackberries. Enjoy now–2034. Michael Alberty
