William Hill Estate 1996 Reserve Cabernet Sauvignon (Napa Valley)

Released after two years in French oak, it's still young and tight. But there's a deep core of black currant and blackberry under soft, silky tannins. Also very oaky, with the sweet chocolate and vanilla of charred wood. Could be more concentrated, but it's very nice.
