Williams Selyem 2011 Peay Vineyard Pinot Noir (Sonoma Coast)

Previous bottlings from this vineyard have been much better. This vintage is intensely ripe, almost Port-like, with cherry pie, cola and red currant flavors, and a hit of sweet oak. The acidity is just fine, but the wine lacks subtlety.
