Williams Selyem 2015 Coastlands Vineyard Pinot Noir (Sonoma Coast)

From a challenging vintage at times, a tiny amount of this subdued wine was made. The nose offers a sense of peatiness, like a good Scotch. Tart orange and grapefruit define an essential crispness to the fruit, as crushed rock and rose petal play along. The tannins and oak are soft and seamlessly interwoven. Virginie Boone
