Williams Selyem 2018 Ferrington Vineyard Pinot Noir (Anderson Valley)

Cellar Selection

Lithe and elegant, this alluring wine exudes harmonious spice and sweet-sour cherry aromas followed by lip-smacking red- and black-cherry flavors that are in turn shaded by nutmeg, cinnamon and vanilla. Although it is spicy, the oak notes don't take over, as they merge elegantly with the complex fruit expressions on the firm structure. Best from 2023. Jim Gordon
