Pure Merlot, from estate vines, this is tart and juicy, with a clean and acidic cut to it that is unusual for Merlot. It's got a lively and evocative nose that sends up aromas of mixed stone fruits, chocolate and butterscotch, but it's carefully made to conserve the acidic push of the fruit and not overwhelm it with barrel.
