Wilson 1999 Sydney Vineyard Merlot (Dry Creek Valley)

Opens with a strong aroma of smoked meat and bacon, not bad, but indicative of brettanomyces in the winery. In the mouth are flavors of red and black cherries, with a spicy edge of clove.
