Wilson 2005 Dorothy's Vineyard Syrah (Dry Creek Valley)

Wilson has had trouble controlling the alcohol level in the past, and the '05 is higher, hotter and sweeter than ever. The official reading is 16%. The wine is soft, flabby and tastes frankly of mashed cherries liberally mixed with white sugar.
