Wilson Foreigner 2017 Rorick Vineyard Albariño (Sierra Foothills)

Attractively buttery in flavor and very creamy in texture, this medium- to full-bodied wine tastes like vanilla, butterscotch and honey, and feels smooth and almost thick on the palate. Not the usual tangy profile of the varietal, but it's done well in an über-rich style. Jim Gordon
