A spicy, zinny nose showing lots of delicious fruit. Fermented with wild yeasts and aged in 100% American oak, it's an appealing, delicious wine for this price. The flavors linger through a satisfying finish, and it doesn't hit that tannic wall that stops so many of the '97s.
