Wine by Joe 2016 Pinot Noir (Oregon)

Much improved over the previous vintage, this is a bit rough and tumble, but packed with fig, cherry and black olive flavors. The tannins are astringent, with a taste of black tea, suggesting that this might well accompany a fat cut of Alaska salmon. Paul Gregutt
