Winter's Hill 2014 Cuvée du Vigneron Pinot Noir (Dundee Hills)

This winemaker's selection is from a warm ripe vintage, yet it remains rather light. The fruit touches on pomegranate and raspberry, and a whiff of ground coffee suggests some time in a percentage of new or once-used oak. It's light on the palate and stiffly herbal through the finish. Paul Gregutt
