Wither Hills 2006 Sauvignon Blanc (Marlborough)

Plagued by controversy back home because of different bottlings, the one imported to the U.S. is a plump, fruit-filled wine. Lime and passion fruit aromas and tropical flavors show no signs of Sauvignon's sometime vegetal side, finishing short and arguably a little sweet. Joe Czerwinski
