Wither Hills 2012 Pinot Noir (Marlborough)

There's a chemical quality to this wine that doesn't seem to blow away. Dusting polish, smoked meats and berries lead into a tightly wound palate of tart red fruit and more polish, with chunky tannins and apparent oak. Christina Pickard
