Half Cabernet Sauvignon, and one quarter each Merlot and Cab Franc, this is the winery's familiar Ausonius red blend, but with a new name. Purple/black fruits—cherries, berries and plums—meld with dusty tannins and flavors of coffee grounds. It's a textural, fruity wine, nicely balanced.
