Woodinville Wine Company 2001 Red Wine Red (Washington)

A Cab-dominated Bordeaux blend that is still quite tight and austere. Once open awhile, cassis and red currant flavors come into focus, with firm tannins that show some green tea character. There's a whiff of barnyard here also; moist earth, some stem. Paul Gregutt
