The wine is 44% Cab Franc, 41% Merlot and 14% Cab, with a splash of Petit Verdot. Complex and fragrant, it suggests a varied mix of fruit and leaf, from dried cranberry, cherry and raisin to tobacco, soy and spice. The feel seems a bit chalky, and it is difficult to assess the potential lifespan of the wine at this point in time.
