88pointsWoop Woop 2014 Cabernet Sauvignon (South Eastern Australia)

At five years of age, this Cab is aging rapidly, so drink up. There is, however, plenty of fruit and varietal character still left in the tank. A fading cherry color, it smells like blueberries, cherry cordial and cockail bitters, with some savory spices and furniture-polish notes. There's tart red fruit on the palate and a lovely spicy tannin structure, but an oaky bitterness flares up on the finish. Christina Pickard
